The challenge
Relay running leagues had no dedicated platform. Organisers managed rosters, races and messages across spreadsheets, email threads and group chats, and existing running apps only catered for individuals.
Our approach
Instead of building straight away, we validated first. A realistic prototype showed managers and runners the core flows, and a waitlist campaign across social media and running forums tested real demand, with a short survey to learn what mattered most.
